Initiations Guhyagarbha Poland conferred by HE Tulku Rinpoche Gangteng, from 4 to 7 December in Warsaw Poland.

The initial source of Mahayoga tantras is Buddha Samantabhadra who gave transmission of these teachings to unseparable from him Buddhas of the Five Families and sambhogakaya buddhas. The teachings reached then Manjusri, Avalokitesvara and Vajrapani who taught them in nagas’, yakshas’, gods’ worlds, as well as in the world of humans, on Malaya mountain (Sri Lanka). After having been written down and hidden in the space, they fell onto the roof of king Dza’s palace of Zahor in India together with big statue of Vajrapani. The king practiced in front of this statue and after seven months he saw the face of Vajrasattva who gave him the transmission of primordial wisdom. Due to this he was able to fully assimilate in his mind the meaning of all Guhyagarbha texts. After having gone through the lineage of many teachers, the tantra came to Buddhaguya, Vimalamitra and Padmasambhava. They transmitted it to their Tibetan disciples.
Both, in India and later on in Tibet, a number of commentaries to this tantra were created. Omniscient Longchenpa wrote: "Guhyagarbha tantra is the peak of all vehicles, the source of all texts, the fastest, the greatest, the most secret way of realisation amongst the vehicles explained by buddhas of three times". According to Mipham Rinpoche’s commentary, it explains eleven important topics which create the tantra’s classification:
1. the view of reality, 2. unmoved meditation absorption, 3. determined action, 4. mandala, 5. initiation, 6. unbroken samaya, 7. diligent practice, 8. direct offerings, 9. manifestation of the activity, 10. tying with mudra, 11. mantra recitation.
Guhyagarbha initiation is given rarely. It is also required for the students of 3rd year online shedra Longchen Rabjam which is run by H. E. Gangteng Rinpoche.
Amitayus Drubchen in a retreat center Кunsangаr in Moscow with His Eminence Gangteng Rinpoche
Amitayus Drubchen
| Buddha Amitayus |
19 - 30 of November 2014 in a retreat center Кunsangаr
His Eminence Gangteng Rinpoche
will run drubchen of Buddha Amitaus of Pema Lingpa tradition
Drubchen is an exceptionally powerful buddhist group practice which includes all skillful methods of Dharma. It is unique and rare event. Participation in Drubchen is a big success and exceptional possibility!
His Eminence Gangteng Rinpoche will run a Drubchen in Russia for the third time.
The first Drubchen, devoted to practice of Guru Padmasambava – Lama Norbu Gyatso – took place in Kunphenling in 2011.
In 2012 Rinpoche conducted Vajrakilaya Drubchen together with Lama Karma Puntsok.
This time Rinpoche will run Buddha Amitaus Drubchen.
Amitayus is Buddha of long life, special form of Buddha Amitabha – Buddha of Boundless Light. Amitayus is being prayed to for long and happy life, health and wealth, diminishing or destroying all situations that endanger life force or long life, as well as for achieving success in worldly matters.
However, the basic frame for all this practice is realisation of the state “beyond birth and death” which in Vajrayana is being called “vidhyadhara of immortal life”.
A practice of Amitaus is particularly important and auspicious in Pema Lingpa tradition, because the great terton Pema Lingpa manifested long life siddhis by his practice.
Together with Gangteng Tulku Rinpoche are coming above 10 attendants: musicians, dancers, umze (leading practices), chopon (ritual man). They are all outstanding and masters in Rinpoche's monasteries; many of them accomplished 3 – year – long retreat and they have gone through long buddhist education and training. We are also expecting arrival of Khenpo Karma Wangyal.
During Drubchen a special pills of long life will be prepared.
Participation in Drubchen is for everybody, regardless knowledge and Dharma experience.
The place of the event and for the accommodation
The Drubchen will be run in Kunsangar retreat center (former Kunphenling) near Moscow.
About drubchen
Тibetan word "drub" is translated as "siddhi", "achievement", "fulfilment", whereas "chen" means "big" or "vast". Thus, drubchen should be understood as a praktcise in which great achievements are realised.
Drubchen is a unique and rare event. Participation in drubchen is a big success and exceptional possibility!
This exceptionally powerful buddhist group practise includes all skilful methods of Dharma.
During this practise its participants make offerings to all sublime beings, make visualisation, mudras, sing Dharma songs and dance. Within ten or seven days mantras are being recited 24 hours a day. The ritual goes on unbroken. It helps in overcoming obstacles and obscurations and developing pure vision.
About blessings of the practise
Participation in drubchen fruits with great accumulation of merit and purifying all obscurations, sicknesses and obstacles.
It is believed in Tibet that few days of drubchen practise equals few years of silitary retreat.
Great blessing goes to all participants, all people connected with the event and to the country where the event takes place. Drubchen establishes peace, serves up in picking up the fruition, wealth and all good qualities. Bad conditions pacify, good conditions accumulate and multiply. Drubxchen's participants purify obscurations and gather accumulations: it brings them closer to the achieving of buddha's state.
Even people not connecxted directly, like sponsors and helpers, those who are not participating actively – all of them gather as many blessings as those who take active part from the beginning till the end.
We are in the period of Kaliyuga now. This time appears to be the very dark period for humanity. Things typical for such an epoque are ecological lack of balance, wars, degradation of beings on many levels. To overcome dark period and influences of Kaliyuga and to practise Dharma we need skillful means. For this very reason on our Earth methods of Vajrayana widespread. It appears to be swift path, full of rich and various methods. Drubchen is one of these methods.
1200 years ago Padmasambhava said that drubchen would be the best protection at the time of wars, hunger, volcanos erruption, earthquakes and such.
