Dzogchen Monastery, South India
3rd to 12th January 2014
"The fruition is the manifestation of the four kayas."
His Eminence the 7th Dzogchen Rinpoche, Jigme Losel Wangpo
In the Dzogchen view death is not something to be afraid of, instead it is an opportunity to have a direct experience of wisdom.
Realising that all things are impermanent and that death can happen at any time can inspire us to 'wake up' and not waste this precious human life.
During this 10-day retreat His Eminence Dzogchen Rinpoche will continue guiding students through the Dzogchen instructions on the bardos [the intermediate state], explaining that if we prepare in this life, clarity can be experienced at the moment of death.
Dzogchen Rinpoche will also introduce the secret Vajrayana instructions of the Great Perfection lineage, the skilful method particularly suited to the lay practitioner, that brings the fruition of the spiritual path, the manifestation of the four kayas.
This retreat continues a cycle of teachings on The Abhisamayalankara, the Knowledge of All and Sherchin Gom Rim [Stages of Meditation in Dzogchen].
